01. Sr Manager/GM - Business Development
|
|
Role: To promote our products and services in a way that generates customers
that help us meet our organizational goal.
In this key position you will be responsible for building, developing and managing
a multi-million dollar pipeline of service prospects across a wide range of software
and financial verticals and markets. |
The caliber of the Business Development candidate:
- He/she should be a very good entrepreneur by nature.
- Should be very comfortable in handling the entire sales cycle (Lead generation to
Closure) and should build up and manage his own BDM team.
- People skills and prior experience is a must.
- One who believes in new business possibilities and capable of scaling up (doubling)
the existing business in 12 months time.
- Capable of proposing a new business model to the TMT (Top Management Team) and executing
it independently with the help of his BDM Team.

Responsibilities:
- Understand and profile target markets and customers.
- Define target market needs that can be met effectively by us.
- Package service offerings in order to benefit this group.
- Develop and implement communication strategy to this target group.
- Generate and validate enquiries from this target group.
- Manage the stylus brand.
- Identify benefits and features from service offerings.
- Prepare target segment profiles of customers who pay the highest value for our offerings.
- Develop communication strategies to reach this group.
- Manage communication channels effectively to get enquiries from this target group
- Screen enquiries to verify
- that the customer profile matches our target segment.
- that the requirement of the clients can be met by our current offering set
- Manage the sales support team (business analysts, project managers etc) to acquire
as many target customers as possible.
- Prepare and send Reports of performance as required.
- Actively implement all results specified in the Performance Review Process.
- Participate actively in the development and improvement of all processes and systems
with regard to the function.
- Participate in cross functional exercises as required.
- Actively champion the values of the organization through faithful implementation
as well as encouraging others to follow it or even whistle blowing where required.

- Conceive, plan and actionize the content strategy for marketing plans shared by
Business/Brand managers.
- Build processes for content management in the company and champion the same.
- Acquire and Engage potential customers by way of writing/editing/managing domain
specific persuasive content through the online media.
- Constantly keep up with domain knowledge and domain related news.
- Keyword research on specific topics and optimize/advice on web content for search
engines.
- Network and Manage relationships with various industry vertical/horizontal domain
experts/content writers.
- Gather newsworthy content about the industry/market through various channels such
as external events, interviews, online news, etc. and contextualize it for promoting
company’s services.
- Understand and sell the company’s services by the written word through marketing
collaterals, case studies, etc..
- Track and measure results.
